Joseph Salerno is a contemporary American sculptor living in Los Angeles, CA. His works are a delicate balance of elements both physical and metaphysical, influenced by the interconnection and disconnection of modern society. Raw industrial materials, subtle touches of color, and minimalist forms are employed to represent the interactions, emotions, and challenges humans face in the world today.

my sculptures often portray the tiny moments we don’t see. the world that is intangible. the split seconds we have to make decisions or the instances that ignite our emotions. as the world becomes more and more complex I choose to strip my subjects to their essence and leave you with a notion.
